Junin located in the middle Peru. It is known for its ecosystem, high altitude and diverse culture. The fertile forest soil and altitude of the Andes mountain provide a perfect environment for growing coffee. From 1980s’ til 1991, this region was taken by a guerrilla group called Sendero Luminoso. Because of the war, lots of families fled to cities. Now the situation is back to normal, so people returned and reestablished their main source of income - coffee. Moreover, they even got the first place of COE Peru.
